According to the Cydia Manager, my 8GB Touch 2g has a 500MB System partition and a 7GB Private partition.

Is there any way to adjust the size of these partitions? I have less than 10% free on the System partition and I can't seem to complete an Upgrade, possibly because of having less than 50MB free (it wants to upgrade 28 packages).

OK, the real problem as I see now is that there is a problem with dpkg being unable to configure the Core Utilities update for grep, I don't understand what grep has to do with an update to the core utilities but whatever.

Here's the error:

* Error
* Couldn't configure pre-depend dpkg for grep, probably a dependency cycle.

This happens whether I do a complete upgrade, essential upgrade, or just the Cure Utilities package. So what do I have to do to unravel this dependency cycle?
