    :)
Thanks for the post! My new i5 is running slower than my 5 year old HP laptop with 4gb or RAM. I figured even with it being 1333mhz it will be a huge difference. Ordering now!

Yowzers! That is cheap! I bought the same RAM for my 2011 MBP late last year for +35% of that price, and that was really cheap at the time.
The RAM has been flawless so far - after 4 months.
Anyone that needs it, can't beat that price!

Except that now that it's $80, you should buy the proper premium-branded 16GB Crucial 1600MHz kit for $10 more.

Indeed. And no offense but from what I read I am not too high on Patriot.

Amazon all day long. You can get some nice deals on there. I bought the 16gb Corsair Vengeance. Theyre doing 25% off at the moment.

I would personally stick with the Corsairs if your budget allows it.

Looking at those that you've found on eBay i would avoid. For one i've never heard of Geil memory , secondly, he only has 3 of them and has only sold 1 and thirdly if you look at his picture he cant even spell seller.

That would be enough to put me off. I'd rather stick with a name that i know and trust when adding hardware to my £800 machine.

    Ok, good points. Many thanks.

Can you give me your thoughts on this RAM aswell please? Would it be suitable for the Mini?

Geil memory is fine - I've purchased it through newegg for various machines before....not sure if I'd trust getting it off ebay though.

Just keep in mind if you really need all that RAM - 4GB is still sufficient for an internet browsing box, with no hard drive thrashing either.
