Me and some friends have tried to figure this out , but didnt get it.

For question 11 Digging Deeper:

b) Determine the percentile rank of the students whose marks were 84.

What we did was:

PR= 1[100(27-3)]
Over
27-1

The answer we got was 2400/ 26 = 92.30

The answer book says: 89
 
(100*(27-4)) / (27-1) = 88.46 + 1 = 89.46 so about 89.

Simple mistake, the rank of someone with an 84 is 4 not 3.
