I think he was the most insulting of that bunch. "Mac users aren't intelligent enough" Seriously?!?I love how "DanglingPointer" changes his argument halfway through when he realises that he's wrong.
Well, it's certainly true in my case!I think he was the most insulting of that bunch. "Mac users aren't intelligent enough" Seriously?!?
Fair point made. Sometimes it just sickens me fellow human beings would go that extreme over a gadget that they don"t like.Well, it's certainly true in my case!
Why is it insulting...who cares?
In what way does other's opinion of what electronic devices one uses effect one's self concept and , therefore, become insulting?

It's how Western society works, "Us vs Them", from sports to tech. It amazes me how personally invested people get when it comes to grown ass men in tights playing a kids game, or the manufacturer of their game console, or even the publisher of their comics.Cool. Nobody with this much loyalty about a company, whether it's Apple, Microsoft, Chevy, etc. really matters. People with too much time and energy on their hands.
Try say fandom fanboyism/girlism. As a Trekkie and Whovian I see that in both fandoms, from the sniping between factions (I mean within each franchise) to the small but loud fans you think must actually hate the show lots to be amused about. It's how Western society works, "Us vs Them", from sports to tech.
