Phone delay of 1 second when answering the phone

I'm sure this has been brought up before... but is there a fix for it? when I pick up the phone and say hello, it seems like the person doesn't hear me until the second time I say hello...

Likely a network thing and not the fault of the iPhone. Just take you time saying hello.

Same here, it's pretty annoying.

lol... I've been with the same network for years though & I never experienced this issue until I got my iphone..

Same in my country in Europe. Never happened before 4S
