I'll be moving back to PC for my next desktop.

8.1 and Server 2012 R2 are top products, not that Mavericks isn't, but yeah, it's a bit stale.

Look forward to picking up a Retina 13inch Macbook Pro next revision, though!

First thing that came to mind:

2012 R2 - agreed. Haven't experienced 8.1 yet.

But you have to remember, windows and linux dominate the server world. No Mac server can touch even 1/10th of what a Windows or Linux server can do, especially in terms of scalability, virtualization, replication, etc.

It's definitely fake. Apple Retail store tables have faint lines in the wood grain the indicates where acrylics and laptop edges, mouse, and keyboard should line up. this table top does not.

Photo might be fake, but somethings going on in Apple retail stores?

Photo(s) might be fake, but somethings going on in the Apple retail stores?, because they are doing some new display construction in some Apple stores in the Midwest in the same spot in the store where the imacs, thunderbolt dispalys, & old mac pro, use to be, which are now moved somewhere else in the store. and this was seen on one of the busiest Saturdays in the apple store & the mall in a long time. Who Knows?? and by the way, what about a NEW UPDATED THUNDERBOLT DISPLAY or something to go along with the new 2013 Mac Pro??.

Another day passes and still no sign of a release date let alone a date when we can go see one in the Apple Store.

Hands up all those who think Apple will wait until nobody is watching then quietly push the release date back to January. They've done it before.
