Hello, I tried to put a photo on the widget but it says no content available and when I click on the widget it takes me to the for you part of the photos app although there are no photos there and it says to connect my phone to power over night to continue scanning, how do I fix this?

The widget is a For You widget, which relies on the For You section of the Photos app to have content.
It sounds like either you've got a new device, or did a fresh install? Or maybe only just added photos to your device? The For You section needs to wait for all the photos to be indexed (where it ties up all locations, dates, people etc), in order to be able to then populate the section.
