I've read about an application for PC's that allows you to automatically download every picture on a web site. Is there anything comparable available for Mac? Thanks for the help.

Some web browsers or web site downloaders can be set to download the pictures off a website, iCab (www.icab.de) I think can do it, webdevil I think can do it as well. These can be customised for certian types of pictures or for so many layers of website links.

If all the pictures are similar e.g. downloading a directory of pictures e.g.

pic1.jpg
pic2.jpg
...
pic100.jpg

You can use a unix util called 'Curl' to download, e.g. if you wanted the folders pictures pic1.jpg to pic100.jpg at http://www.pics.com/images/ to be downloaded to the current folder (while in terminal) with their orginial file names this should work:

curl -O http://www.pics.com/images/pic\[1-100\].jpg

Then the terminal should start reporting on its progress.

Sorry if this is not what you want.
