Hi.

I am thinking about one thing.

I have lots of DVDs, movies, games...that I want to watch on the 21'5 iMac.

There will be any problem or bad quality for playing in 720p (HD Ready) instead of Full HD.

It will also make a great increase of FPS performance with 4670, ¿no?

What do you think?

Anybody knows?

Maybe I didn't explain it very well.

If I play DVDs, games, photos or any thing with a resoluition under Full HD, like HD Ready, which is 133x768 (or 1280x720), what can I expect?

In a 21'5 screen, the diference should be insignificant I guess.

I have lots of DVDs that I like to watch on the iMac, and lots of games which doesn't have Full HD.

What do you think?

I used to play 720p on a 23 fullHD non apple monitor and it was ok. The upscaling is not so big so there is no so much quality lost.

I'm talking about watching from 2 meters long more or less.

About games, it depends of the max resolution they can reach of course, any upscaling will carry bluriness, the lower game resolution, the worse bluriness.

In games, I´m talking of playing 720p instead of 1080p.So, in a 21'5 screen, what about the quality diference?

It should be fine if you play about 2 meters from the Mac, but my advise is : go to an Apple Store and try some 720P movie trailers.

I have the same questions about playing 720P content on a 27" Mac, so tomorrow I'm going to some apple reseller to try 720 trailers.
