Hi

I am attempting to jailbreak the ipod and visited the url as posted, but did so whilst at work and have since restarted the ipod. I have got home and plugged the device into Windows to complete the setup process and Windows is not recognising the device!

So, when i try and run either of the ipod jaibreak approaches, nothing happens as the PC is not connecting to the iPod.

Any advice?

Thanks

Try holding down both the home button and the power button for 30 seconds or so, initiating a restart into safe mode. Then plug it into your computer and restore.

Sounds like you should restore your iPod before continuing with the jailbreak. Instructions here:

Seriously, do a search. It's bad enough that you are even attempting this hack , but to come on asking for help after you screw it up...
