iPod touch PLEASE REPLY - Charging the iPod Touch

Hi Guys,

Got my touch today and am dead excited. I wanted to know if I could charge my touch using the Old Charger from my previous iPod. The one that has an adapter which is connected to your iPod via a firewire cable.

Basically I'm asking if the touch can be charged with the firewire cable plugged into the iPod mains adapter even though it connects to your iTunes via USB.

FWIW, I use my old 3rd gen iPod FW charger for my iPhone.

yes. It works just fine. Typing now from a touch i charged using a fw setup!

FWIW, I use my old 3rd gen iPod FW charger for my iPhone.

I use the airport express.. it does nothing but blink at college anyways...

I'm typing from a touch that is plugged into wall via FireWire. But as I was typing just now safari decided to glitch and stop playing my song.

It charges with FireWire, USB 2.0 and car chargers, and the USB Firewire AC adaptor and the airport express fine.

Just make sure you don't plug it into a old type USB port.
