iPhone 15 Pro Max on 17.1 and this has happened at least twice already.
I listen to a podcast when I walk the dog around 7PM, there may be 10 minutes left. I turn it off and use my phone normally throughout the night.
Then, at around 3:30 (or 2) the podcast picks up where it left off and my DND iPhone wakes me up.

I'm not sure if this is a 15 Pro Max, Podcast, or ios17 issue.
I don't even know where to look to change the setting.

Has anyone heard of this issue?

I actually did have this issue but it turned out it was a mouse that got in the house sniffing around at night…being 100% serious. But maybe your issue was fixed in 17.2, worth giving the update a try now that it’s out.

I'll keep you updated. I always turn my iPhone face down so the screen turns off.

I have been having a different but somewhat tangential issue. Using Podcasts, I'll be listening to a podcast and it will randomly rewind the playback. Sometimes by just a few seconds, sometimes by several minutes. No input from me at all, listening in all sorts of situations (in car via CarPlay, when wearing AirPods, when just playing over my phone's speaker, etc).

On the 17.3 beta now as of yesterday and have not listening to a Podcast yet, but that was happening to me a lot during the 17.2 betas.
