Pop up ads on safari?? help!

Hey everyone, my sister is having an issue with this one pop up ad that keeps coming back almost every day. her pop up blocker in on. the ad doesnt pop up over the ad that shes viewing, but once she closes it she can see the pop up on her desktop, it pops up behind her browser window. and its always the same ad, its an obama '08 ad. any ideas anyone?

That's not a pop-up, it is pop-under. The thing about these ads is that there is an ongoing battle between the people who place the ads and the users who don't want to see them. There is real money to be made by the advertisers. Therefore, they will do everything that they can to defeat or workaround adblockers. Then the adblockers have to upgrade their software and the cycle continues.

Which ad blocker are you using btw? I'm using safari Adblock and it does a great job.

shes just using the block pop ups option in safari.
