    Condoms prevent abortion. So if you're against abortion it'd logically follow that you should promote condom use.

    <thinking>

    Does he mean male prostitutes only when servicing male clients, or also female clients??

    If both, then conception is at risk. :eek:

    Condemns are okay, so long as you're a gay prostitute banging another guy up the ass.

    You know... the Pope's a pretty cool dude.

    Who knew? :D

    Yes, he's admitting defeat on that front, but don't you dare use them for heterosexual congress.

    Excommunication will result, or a massive donation to the Church, which ever occurs first.

    In Toronto you may find a house
    With a man who believes he's a mouse.
    Quoting falsely's his game,
    Although some find it lame
    (e.g., self-described skunks tend to grouse).

    I'm not saying I disagree, but remember, the pope is actually just a man.

    Seriously, the Middle Ages has been and gone and people still care what this guy says? In any other scenario, "The Renaissance was just something that happened to other people" would be amusing.

    Yes, there are still people who believe that the pope is jesus' heir and that he wields magical powers. Perhaps you didn't follow the thread about theism vs atheism.

    as usual the catholic church moves at glacial pace ... on the plus side though at least they move at all.. considering how different they are from the church of my grandparents

    any bets on when the vatikan will give a general 'OK' ? 5 or 10 years ?
