Well it's tried, not exactly doing a lot of good though.

I really do utterly despair when you have people of great influence putting down one of the very few real things that could help, when they have no useful alternative to such a massive problem themselves. What a cock.

I wish a condom could be securely fastened to his decrepit old head. That may stop the flow of dumbass things he has to say.

It is confusing. I just want to to know what he plans to do if he thinks condoms aren't the answer.

I think the Pope is simply a mouthpiece for the Vatican. When they change their view on condoms, then so will the Pope. There are more and more vocal Cardinals on the subject for birth control and one day the slow moving church may catch up with the times.

On other issues such as evolution and capitial punishment, Popes in general have taken at least moderate views on those topics, but when it comes to birth control, the Vatican is taking an extremely out-dated view far beyond what even the most conservative politicians would suggest. If any US GOP candidate for President made that statement, it would end their political career.

I bet if Pope Hitler Youth had his way, he would send everyone with AIDS to concentration camps to prevent the spread of their diease.

And the Jews too. Don't want them to spread around either

I'm really sorry if I'm offending anybody's spiritual leader, but this guy is an absolute moron. This isn't the first idiotic thing that he has said and it will not be the last. Complete tit.

    "Just Say No" —Nancy Reagan

I'm having a flashback to the Reagan administration (who, incidentally, dropped the ball on recognizing the Aids problem in its earlier stages).

As Demitri Martin said "Why don't you leave the science fiction to the scientists, and the science to the priests. alright?":p
