Hands up who loves the pope?
All that from a guy in a dress...
What is that saying? Thou doth protest too much?
Tsk, tsk, popey.
He ought to be strung up for saying that.
I wonder if he's going to get put on a list as the arsehole Pope...
Quite the reason you will not find me in church on Christmas morning. Love one another and all that...
Still this is from an organisation that has only just agreed that the world is not flat
Why say something like that? What a wanker.
LOL! I agree.
Being a religious leader only buys you so much respect. You have to earn the rest and he's just thrown a lot of it away.
Ve ask ze kvestions!
Pope sh*ts on the woods Shocka.
Sh|ts on the woods? Coprophilia and faggots*? Delicious.
Roma locuta est, causa finita est… apparently.
Ratzinger really is a prize c**t
It's just a facade. I'm sure the Pope is a lesbian.
I will just say it.
From the Pope stand point he is right. I can point to multiple passages in the bible saying homosexuality is sin. Both in the old and the new testament.
But it has been discussed before the Church has every right to refuse Gay marriages and the church does have a leg to stand on. Government do not have that same leg/
What are you talking about? That was very confusing. There is absolutely no proof that gay people are destroying mankind.
This is nothing to do with gay marriage or whether homosexuality is right or wrong.
The Pope is saying homosexuality is a threat to the future of humankind, which is bollocks.
^ I don't think anyone would disagree that he has a leg to stand on, as far as he's concerned he's doing gods work...or something.
The point is how out of touch (to my mind at least) these views are, and how ridiculous the church is in its entirety.
That is debatable. I believe there are a few passages in Acts and Revelations that back his view point.
From the churches stand point homosexuality is a sin (no debating this) and it is written multiple times we need to try to do our best to live a Godly life.
This is a good quote comeback to that:
The bible says a lot of things that are ignored. It's bigotry, not religion, that dictates these things. He, and any body that follows the bible half-heartedly, can shove his quasi-dogmatic approach up his arsehole.
Government DO have a leg to stand on. Marriage isn't only a religious ceremony.
I've no problem with Churches refusing to marry homosexuals - if that's what they believe - but churches that don't believe that, and the government, should be able to marry a homosexual couple if they want.
The shocking thing is that anybody gives a rats arse what the rancid old Nazi says.
Then debate it, because as far as I see it that is hilarious. Homosexuality has existed since the dawn on mankind. Yet today, this very second, there are more people on the earth than every before.
Well he's still the pope, millions and millions still do follow him and his book...worrying as that might be.
