    Hey all,

i tried to install bootcamp on my macbook pro earlier with windows xp and the install didnt complete...there was some error i dont remember (really messed up old disc). anyway, i used the bootcamp assistant to erase the partition that i had. now whenever i try to reboot or start up from mac os x i get a "no bootable disc found--please enter a bootable disc and press any key." it looks like a part of windows is still on my computer. to get into mac os x i have to hold down the option key and choose the mac os x startup. please help...its really annoying. THANKS!

I'd pick OS X as your startup disc from the System Preference Pane and then reboot.

You more then likely didn't encounter anything to do with Windows.

Your Mac was trying to boot under BIOS mode and couldn't find any OS or discs.
