Went out and bought the base model 13" yesterday, super super happy, just awaiting the arrival of my SSD.

Anyway, ran a quick geekbench check in 32 bit mode (not paying for the full version, i don't know if that makes any difference to the score?).

My score came in at 5930.

How about yours?

How does 17 incher that is same specced as a 15 incher get a higher score?

Because you can run gbench ten times in a row and get a range of over 200 or more variation. It Not a Perfect test my geek bench score is considerably higher on my Mac pro with only 12gb Wörth of ram Than with the full 16 gb RAM i can assure you that 16gb Runs bettet though;)

I don't have the 2011 MBP's but I wanted to post my score anyway.. I felt left out :p

My score was 5025. I have a base line 2010 2.4Ghz 15 inch i5 MBP. Read my signature for full specs.

Considering how well the new MBP's score, I'm quite impressed w/ the 2011 refresh. Enjoy your new machines!
