I propose a challenge to anyone and everyone who has a Mac (preferably PPC to keep with the nature of this forum)... I want you to post a picture(s) of your entire collection. I don't care if you have one or 63, I challenge you to post pictures of your entire collection.

RULES:
1. If you can, try to get your entire collection into one group as opposed taking multiple pictures of them in different places.
2. Post as many pictures as you want of your collection from different angles or if you can't fit everything into one picture.
3. Feel free to include 68k or Intel macs along with PPC ones. You can post just one single group of macs (I.e. All your Intel macs, all your PPC macs, or all your 68k macs), or post them all together. The more macs in your picture, the higher your score!
4. Also, feel free to include any accessories that you have for your collection (I.e. Monitors, mice, keyboards, GPUs, and other parts).
5. Feel free to include other apple products as well (i.e. Apple TV, Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple Newton, Apple STB, Apple ][, etc)
6. Please write the number of Macs that are in your picture somewhere in your post so that it will be easier to score.
7. Please write if you have any rare or unique accessories, parts, or other Apple products in your post as well so they can be scored as well (see below in RANKS for more info)
8. Computers in your pictures must still be owned in order to be counted. They may remain in your picture, but please clarify the correct number that you still own of those pictured.

RANKS:

Ranks are based upon how many Macs are in a single picture. Extra point will be awarded if the computer, part, accessory, or other Apple products is special (i.e. It's rare, it's one of a kind). Top 10 users with the largest collection in a picture are listed below;

1. ih8reno- 27 points (30 macs pictured, however only 26 are still owned + point for Apple Mouse Pad)
2. MacCubed- 19 points (9 macs + 9 boxes + bonus point for prototype Quad)
3. Flyrod- 13 points (13 macs)
4. Tevion5- 11 points (10 macs + Apple ][ and Monitor ///)
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
As of 8/6/15

Good luck!!!

PS: even though I'm doing this as a contest basically, I'm also doing it for fun. I think it would be very cool to see everyone's collections, regardless of how small or large they are...

You and Bunns don't count. Collectively you have more Macs/Apple products than Apple ever made.

You two however, get to judge.

Aww, lol. I think it's fair to allow us to still post, but i just won't put ours into the rankings...

I mean come on, who wouldn't want to see Bunn's entire collection?!

Btw, when you put it into that perspective, that's pretty freaky that the two of us combined have more Apple products then Apple has ever made, :p

I am prone to hyperbole, but in this case I think not too much. ;)

I can agree to that compromise. I wasn't actually arguing that you couldn't post just that you couldn't compete.

Also:
Commodore 16
Commodore 64

If you have any rare Apple accessories, then you can get some extra brownie points! Also, i really want to give you an extra point for your mint c64 box, but if I did that, I would have to count everyone's odds and ends and that would make it a bit biased. I also can't count your c16 or c64 because they aren't macs, sadly. They are cool though. At some point I'm going to try and get myself a c64!

BTW, I found your PB, :p

I'll play:

Two dual G4 cubes, a 10-node G4 mini cluster, and a 12" 1.67GHz powerbook "daily driver" with SSD.

What do you use the 10-node cluster for? Also, I like that custom Cube case!

I'll try :)

I might not be able to get everything in one photo since my Macs are in three different physical locations.

I do, however, have some boxes and a bunch of ephemera...

I'll score you, but as per Erik's request that I'm in agreement with, I can not put you into the running to see who can put all their macs into a few pictures, because you are the clear winner, lol.

I'm fine with that :)

I'll cram as many as possible into one photo, then use additional photos for the other stuff. I hope I can find a place big enough to put everything :)

That's what Photoshop is for! :D

Then let me show you my 5,000,000 node mini cluster! :)

To answer the earlier question, it's actually mainly used for heat in the winter. I figure it's a slightly more productive way to turn electricity into heat than the floor registers in my place. Before it was retired it was used for simulations, distcc, and software testing. Now I mostly use it for dnet and handbrake. If anyone has some other applications I'd be interested to hear them.

I think we have a winner, coming in with 4,999,990 more macs than everyone else!

Heh, you could upgrade to a G5 quad. You'd be using the same amount of electricity and produce double the amount of heat!

But seriously, it's very cool. If I had that same thing, I'd be using it as a file server for the house and for me to access anywhere. Beyond that, I have no clue what I could do with them...

I've owned or own many other kinds of macs, those are mostly older pics. I'd have to count what I have currently.

Currently I count 26 but I've bought sold and traded a lot more then that in the past 1-2 years

So I'll count it as 26...

I'm going to put into the rules that I'll only count the computers if you still own them.
