iPhone 4 is my first iPhone, and I still haven't got it activated yet. Hence, I've never used any apps :).

Does the phone need to be jailbroken to use the apps on rockyourphone.com? Not something I'm willing to do if so.

Yes. Don't fret! I was the same way until i realized how wonderful and easy it was to jailbreak. Once you do it, you will NOT go back! Trust me, you get to do so much more with your phone once it's jailbroken. You really should think about it. The jailbreak isn't available for us iPhone 4 users yet, but it will...oh it will!

Not true. I jailbroke my 3G, then when the GS came out I never got around to it, and never missed it. No jailbreaking the iPhone 4 either. I dont care what some say, it definitely slowed my phone down.
So it wasn't a once you do it youll never go back for this guy.

It'd be helpful if there was a short description for these favorite apps...

    UrbanSpoon (restaurant reviews and finder)
Starbucks Mobile Card (can use and re-load starbucks rewards card)
Angry Birds (stupid, but such an addicting game at a good price)

I was addicted to tweet deck but eventually i got tired of the different panes and on my 3GS i noticed a bump down in battery life when i used it. So now i'm using the Official Twitter app.

Eliminate: Gunrange -- it's more of a tech demo than a crazy fun game but using the gyroscope is sick
