Exciting. Is there a reason why so many? Are you a modder?

Got this one in Yellow and Green! I absolutely love it except I can't get the batteries here locally.

Why so many? Addiction mostly, and yes I mod most of them myself. I spend a bit of time on candlepower forums. I am a DIY addict in various forms: audio, cars, flashlights, home improvement, etc..

Those were just the ones within 10 feet of my bed. The mag85 will actually kill bugs if you shine it on them for a few seconds from within a couple inches.

Nothing special just my Mag-Lite's I have some much older flashlights but do not particularly feel like hunting them out at the moment.

I can kill bugs with a Mag-Lite too. If I so disposed it could be used on larger animal and intruders too. Just a matter of force:D.

I don't quite get modding flashlights, but that made me laugh very loudly... :D

So what do you do? Whack your assailant over the head with it? Does it chase down criminals on its own? The world needs to know....

Just posting what it said from their website.

And actually, the self defense part is, it's a very bright light, and by shining it in your attackers eyes it will temporarily blind them giving you the time to defend yourself, or run like a girl, whichever you choose.

The crenelated bezel is also quite painful to be struck with.

Several of my lights have a full power strobe function which is honestly quite disorienting in the dark. There are reports that it is more effective than some other non-lethal weapons used on assailants, particularly those on drugs.

Anecdotally, the strobe really pisses my wife off.
