The numbers that impress me most on that i7 score (will like to see if i5 is the same) are the memory bandwidth and performance numbers.

Guys, we need results from 64-bit testing.
browse.geekbench.ca is already flooded with 32-bit results of 3.06 GHz late 2009 iMacs.
We need more results from 3.33 GHz machines (32- and 64-bit) and especially 64-bit results from i5- and i7-iMacs.

WOW! My geekbench score for my imac 24inch 2.33ghz with 4 gig of ram is 3223.... it has just confirmed to me that I have made the right choice going for the i7. I can stop feeling guilty now about my purchase

Makes it more than worth it to get the i7 if one can afford the extra $180-200 over the i5.

For 64bit

i7= ~9500-9600
i5= ~ 7100

For 32bit

i7= 8200-8400
i5= 6400-6500

On the Windows side I'd be curious to see the results from the various 3D Mark benchmarks, the X3 Rolling Demo Benchmark, Company of Heros & Trackmania United Forever (or whatever the free version is called)

If anyone feels so inclined Otherwise I will do them but I only ordered my i7 on Wednesday so it might take a while before I get mine.
