Random, but fair enough :
Here you go
What determines weather you have a florescent on incandescent bulb for energy saver?
I am glad I have a incandescent because I do not like florescent stuff.
I think 10.5.6 introduced the florescent bulb...
basically, it can give you various alerts/notifications for various things is various applications. Can be handy. It's all customizable and compatible with a good number of apps.
I'm on 10.5.6 and I still have a incandescent
EDIT: I changed it to a LED
WOW good eye! i love florescent lolz
oh thanks perrumpo
Florescent gives me headaches
Here we go
Basically the fluorescent bulb comes with the Unibody MacBooks as part of Apple new Enviromental Friendly campaign.
i love the white light
Ok my turn.
Fluorescent uses 1/3-1/5 less energy than incandescent.
Of LED lights
If incandescent was banned I would have LED lights.
i cant find a LED light for my lamp ):
If so what is this:
If my system preferences had the florescent I would change it to LED.
Changed Energy Saver and Trackpad
Eh wth, here's mine.
I did it anyway!
Put this icon in place of the energysaver.icns (in the energy saver preference pane) file and move energy saver to the desktop. Then double click on it and install for all users.
ignoring the weirdness of this thread… no one has it organised Alphabetically (in View menu)? its smaller neater, does away with "Other" and its like the Windows Control Panel which i actually like . it will be hard to read but you get used to it .
not mine (not on my Mac)
Not if you have windows in category view!
What I do not understand is why the LED backlights get the florescent while the florescent backlights get the incandescent bulb. Should be CCFL on the CCFL backlights and LED on the LED backlights.
I never understood why a environmental school (the school I went to before I was homeschooled) used florescent lights when they contain mercery. I would use solar/wind powered incandescent before florescent.
