Just came back from SF. Took some shots with the iPhone 4 and another camera I'm testing out. This is from an iPhone 4:

Bequia....in St. Vincent and the Grenadines...

Okay, so it's a ferry ride away from where we live on mainland St. Vincent, but it's a vacation destination that many can only DREAM about.....discover the beauty of Bequia, just one of the gems from the lovely chain of islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines!

All great pictures so far. I think it is only fair that whoever posts a picture of their vacation spot, should also post what type of camera they had used as well. I know this may be intruding on other threads, but you know a lot of people on here will be wondering.

Here are some pictures from a trip I took to Greece/Italy a few months ago. One of the best experiences of my life, went to like 13 different cities over two weeks, it was amazing.

These are from Rome, Florence, Assisi, Athens, and Kalambaka

All my shots above were with my Canon SD 780IS P&S. Didn't have my T3i at the time, kinda bummed....especially when I went to France. The Heavenly Resort pic was actually done with my older Canon S40 P&S. Man, I'm glad to be rid of that thing.

Here are a few from Egypt (pyramids & sphinx), Lebanon (Baalbek), Syria (Damascus), Jordan (Petra) and Israel (Eilat).

My wife and I backpacked around the middle east 2 years ago. Great trip. The pictures don't nearly do it justice. Baalbek is off the beaten path a bit in Lebanon but was the highlight of the trip. To put it in perspective, the pyramids took 30 years to build. Baalbek took 300. The stonework and the craftsmanship is, literally, unbelievable. It is so amazing. It's unfortunate that it's in an area of Lebanon that's less often visited by outsiders.

The picture from Damascus is on Straight Street in the Old City of Damascus. Straight Street is specifically mentioned by name in the bible. Pretty neat to walk down a street with so much history.

We were only in Israel for a few hours so sorry there's no better shots from there. LOL. We actually got detained trying to get into Israel for longer than we were actually in the country. LOL. No big deal, we had just recently travelled through countries that are not on friendly terms with Israel so they had some questions for us about us and our travels. Seriously though, it was probably the friendliest "detention" ever!

With all of the current events in that region we sure picked a good time to have gone.

Speaking of travel, I love this quote. I think it's so true...
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness."
    -Mark Twain

    Couple more...

Two more, a bit more domestic... Times Square in NYC and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

And one of Cuba. How I'd love to be back there right now! Laying on the beach with a book, a cigar and a drink... Ahhhh.

    Daydreaming now,
