im running a powerbook g4 titanium running on OS X 10.4.11. im trying to find out what are the best upgrades i can get, hardware/component wise, on my powerbook to make it better. i dont know where i can find this information. i want to upgrade to the highest possible point

Powerbook G4 titanium max upgrades

You can upgrade the RAM to 1GB maxed out. If you are looking at the processor, it depends on what model you have. There is the VGA and DVI model. I think the max VGA was 667 MHz G4. The max DVI though is 1 Ghz G4. But those are expensive to upgrade, I don't recommend it. You can get a superdrive too. Also, my powerbook g4 titanium 800 MHz with 1GB of ram runs leopard nicely, so that is an option.
Diabling Dashboard on leopard, 1 gig of two 512mb sticks of ram is the max, PC133 ram, dual layer pata superdrive, plus I would opt for the 320 gig WD hard drive PATA rather than the SSD, but that's just me. 320 gig is biggest ATA/PATA hard drive for laptops made.
Or you could put a SSD to PATA adapter in the optical drive slot, running two hard drives, and using an external dvd burner. I think but am not 100 percent sure that there was an internal bluetooth option on the 1 ghz Titaniums. They also had 64 vram DVI, which drives the 20 ACD aluminum nicely.
Earlier tibooks had either 32 or 16 vram, some only VGA out, so the last model is the best.
