Mine shipped too. Looks like they're really picking up the pace. (I ordered 6/30, a dual with 2 GB RAM, 2x250 GB disks, 9800 Pro, bluetooth, airport extreme, modem.)

Looks like a sleepless night for me. Just got the email from Apple that my dual G5 is on the way. I'm happy since my original delivery by date was Oct 2nd. I have gotten shipments from Apple overnight when using standard shipping in the past so I'm hoping history repeats it's self tomorrow.

they hit apple retail stores with shipments of the dual today. Cancelled the order and walked in for the purchase. Upped to 2gig ram without the 250gb harddrive and they gave me free apple care. Worst part is, I'm moving, so i can't open it til I settle.

Mine finally "shipped"..... From Taiwan! Even though I paid for overnight shipping, apparently it's still going to take about a week to get here. Apple said that it would be 3-4 days to arrive and get through customs, then 24-48 hours to actually be delivered. Aaaahhh!

I'm heading to CompUSA tomorrow, maybe by some fluke they will have one already, and I can just put this whole mess behind me.

Is anyone here STILL waiting for their Pre-Release CTO of a G5 Dual 2 Ghz with 9800 and BT/AP added?

I can't believe it's taking this long for an order through a local Apple reseller.

At this point I think it's only people who ordered through resellers... Apple Store seems to have caught up.
