~4.5" display, same look and feel just larger size. The larger size means you can keep the device farther from your face while using it, so same resolution and they could still call it Retina Display.

They could say it makes iWork and iMovie more useable, therefore more professional. ~$300 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB also available at their respective prices.

What do you guys think?

Apple won't do anything that will decrease battery life. It's one of their biggest selling points. No point in thousands of songs and apps if you can only listen/play them for a couple hours.

So you're predicting that Apple will release a new or updated phone and a new or updated operating system come this time next year?

NO WAY.

IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

I don't see a 16GB option next year. Only a 32GB and 64GB option. Possibly a 16GB iPhone 4 for 99 dollars.

Doesn't Apple try to make the size of their iPhones smaller with every revision? I think for bigger screens they direct users to the iPad or a flavor of the Mac notebooks.

Definitely not happening.

I think the largest Apple would ever go with the iPhone screen is 3.8''.

The new software is a given though.

4.5 inch display would be too large for Apple to go I think. But I could see a 4 inch screen being a possibility. And definitely at least one other carrier. This thing ain't going to stay on just AT&T in the U.S forever. All you have to do is look at other countries and how Apple has been on multiple carriers in those places. It's not difficult to see that coming.

This isn't necessarily a hit against the OP, but a trend I've seen since joining this forum is EVERYBODY feels the need to share every thought they have on the iphone via a new thread. Whether its a personal theory or a conversation(gospel) they had with jim the 17yo high school student who is a part time employee at best buy who said (confirmed) that apple is going to give everybody a blue bumper and a 300 dollar gift card towards the verizon iphone, which will only come in white.

Apple doesn't raise prices. iPhones have been 199 and 299 since the 3G.

Apple upgrades every June, never in between.

Apple upgrades iOS every march/april

Apple will periodically release small updates (i.e. 4.x)

Your thread is full of fail

WOW...You're saying there's going to be a NEW iPhone coming out time next year???? That's a revelation! NOT.

That being said, I think we can all, at the very least, anticipate a 64GB iPhone, along with some tweaks.

I don't see "new carriers." Heard it too many times before.

Too big. I seriously doubt Apple would ever go bigger.

I took a look at the HTC Evo with the 4.3" screen and that thing is huge next to the iPhone. I can't see carrying that around in my pocket.
