All Devices Preserving the “live” status of Live Photos after saving to the files app

I have a bunch of Live Photos that I would like remove from my camera roll and save to my iCloud Drive files app. However once there, they no longer seem to be Live Photos and saving them back to my camera roll doesn’t not restore the live part either.

is there something I am missing?

I have tested this myself and have the same result. However, I think this is a bug because files used to differ live and regular photos. Hope you figure it out!
