Before anyone complains this article is 9 years old; I know, that's the point.

I wonder if that ruling will be enforced upon this administration and Bush?

Then Bush should be impeached soon.

I would hope so, but I don't think anyone in congress has the political will to tackle it.

Yep- and it looks like the Republicans screwed themselves with it.

Oh, so the answer is that it's time for Bush to be impeached. It's the same situation. The need for investigation outweighs Bush's need to keep the conversations private.

Do you mean that only independent counsel's can do so or there needs to be an obstruction of justice charge or simply that anything associated with Clinton is denied presidential immunity? Let's face it, bushco has overstepped the boundaries and is only buying time, hoping that the buzzer goes off before the game ends.

Fortunately, bushco will have no friends in the capital after 2009 so there's hope that justice will be served. Oh, that's right swarmy, you don't believe in justice, do you? oh well....

A Special Prosecutor can convene a grand jury. He can make a case for obstruction, conspiracy (everyone in America is guilty of that), or whatever he wants. That gives him subpoena power. The good thing about this is, the SP is the one who looks like a prick, not the politicians. Kenneth Star was the perfect SP; out to get his man, regardless of how trivial the matter was, and a lifetime's practice of being a prick (heard he taught at the prick academy).

You'd think, but they can't even get the war to maybe start ending next year.

I'll believe it when I see it.
