...are surprises usually sectioned off by velvet ropes and a gaggle of media people? Or do TV cameras and lighting rigs always follow white house tours around?

It was the first tour since he became president so it isn't unreasonable that they would be. There are more than enough real issues to be complaining about in regards to Trump instead of nitpicking little things like this.

Oh no I agree this is a nonsense "story", but a PR move is a PR move which hopefully we can agree on.

Hillary says "I'm watching you" :)

Funny that her portrait is there.

Even funnier that she isn't there in person.

But he never stops thinking about her.

I don't have a problem with him doing this if it makes him look human and presidential. Who cares if it's for the cameras.

Kids had a blast, that's all it matters. It's a good gesture.

He even let a few of the kids play with the "football".

I don't think her standing in front of her own portrait would be funny at all. Different sense of humor I guess.

Trump will never get away.....she's haunting him. Probably why we see tweets from him before the sun even rises....after he wakes up in a cold sweat from yet another Hillary nightmare. :D

Maybe Trump can stand in front of an Obama portrait next, since he seems to be haunting him these days too. LOL

Bet he already checked Obama's portrait for cameras in the eyes and mics in the ears.

For as many arguments as I've had to stretch myself out for Trump he should surprise me by showing up at my house with a new BMW.

Sorry no German car for you. You can have a Ford or Chevy though. It's not Make Germany Great Again.

POTUS should stop wasting time greeting tourists, he has a lot of work to do.

He should hire Alec Baldwin to greet the tourists on his behalf. Those gullible Chinese and British tourists wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyways.

We certainly would know the difference.

For a start, I'd actually like to meet Alex Baldwin...
