My wife asked me to look at a light fixture from wayfair now it's showing up in some emails as an ad. I have 1Blocker premium installed and have the website tracking checked off in safari. Is there an ad blocker that can get rid of this type of behaviour?

Don't be signed in to a website when you're shopping for things? Ad-tracking-blocker software is only as good as your behavior with it. The minute you're signed in to anything which operates an ad network (facebook, google, amazon, and I guess, wayfair) all bets are off to its effectiveness.

I've gone as far as using Firefox private windows with ublock origin as my default browser to stop this behavior.

I cleared history and website data so will see if that clears it up. If that doesn’t work I’ll try that. I have nothing from google installed and the only social media I go on is twitter. It’s one thing getting ads on pages you visit but having them embedded in emails is going to far in my view. I’ll never go on that site again. I don’t recall this happening with any other site before.

How do you view your email?

I use apples mail on my MacBook Pro and iPhone.
