You could add a bookmark with a location of

javascript:window.print();

and name it Print.

Command + P always works too!

I tried the javascript command, and under 10.3.6, i doesn't do anything.

I know Command + P wrks, but it brings up the "Print" dialog box. Sometimes (well, frequently) when I am in a rush, I just need to send it to the printer without prompting me (kind of like Office applications. I am used to just being able to click on a button, head to the network printer, and dash off to wherever I am going next.

Theres a way around the print dialog in OS X :confused:

Not to sound nit picky or sarcastic, but isn't Command + P and then Enter pretty fast for those on the go?

As to the first question: if the Microsoft apps can do it, wouldn't other applications be able to as well?

And as for the second - in a corporate environment, with a network printer, no - I find it easier to hit the "Print" icon from Word, grab the document on my way to wherever I am going. Maybe I've just been spoiled by Microsoft's apps. :p
