    MEANWHILE
    http://thefreethoughtproject.com/woman-sentenced-jail-time-messy-yard/

let the rapist drug dealer go free & jail a woman for an unkempt yard.

cops need to be held to at least the SAME standards as civilians.

Either a corrupt justice system or the country does not consider prisoners to be humans that can have crimes committed against them. Either way that's a disgrace to humanity in my opinion, the justice system condoning that kind of behaviour.

I agree its pretty outrageous for the prison guard not to have done any jail time but to be fair this is something that occurred in KY while the woman with the unkept yard was in TN. It seems a little disingenuous to try to link the two events together as if they both occurred within the same judicial jurisdiction.

I am pointing out the disparity between law enforcement & civilians.

Guards are not law enforcement. They definitely don't get treated the same way a cop does. At least where I live they don't. I work with former prison guards and a bud of mine is a former lieutenant at a prison. There's no special treatment there.

Not to defend the guy (because what he did was wrong and does need to be held to the same standards), but do we know if this was a state operated prison, or a private one?
