Todd Kincannon, former director of the South Carolina GOP and staunch pro-lifer (when it’s convenient, given that he supports abortion when it and time travel could eliminate someone he hates) has a solution to that whole Ebola…thing.
In a series of tweets, Kincannon explained that his solution to the problem presented by the virus can easily be solved with a little cold-blooded murder and a whole lot of napalm!

Never heard of him before, but he is obviously an idiot that hopefully doesn't represent a very large group of people.

No, he is like a GOP executive, not an elected somebody.

"The people of Africa are to blame for why it's so s***ty. They could stop eating each other and learn calculus at any time."

    See?

The GOP was right all along about Obamacare.

It has resulted in Death Panels.

I don't actually have a problem with his statements. If he was running for office, these would remind me not to vote for him. In some sense it's helpful, in that it tells everyone that he cannot be trusted with any kind of future authority. You guys should be glad when the idiots make themselves so easily identifiable.

I find the level of sheer ignorance, outright racism, and pure unadulterated hatefulness in this man's Tweets to be truly staggering. The fact that this person could be entrusted with any sort of leadership position anywhere in modern America ought to give the members of that organization pause.

    Where to begin?

Lets start with a shocking ignorance of even the basic facts about Africa. Starting with the fact that the Zulu people of South Africa do not now, and did not ever, wear bones in their noses. The Zulu people live mainly in Kwazulu, the largest city of which - Durban - is roughly 4000 miles from Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, the nation at the center of the current Ebola outbreak. (Thats roughly the distance between Houston and Honolulu.) The custom of wearing bones through the nose is most commonly associated with the Kombai tree people of Papua New Guinea.

(I also fail to see how wearing a bone through one's nose is necessarily any more uncivilized than tattooing the name of a motorcycle manufacturer on one's bicep or stuffing bags of silicone into the breasts of young women, but I digress..)

This man, quite literally, appears to know nothing about what he is talking about.

Seems like American politicians will say pretty much anything to get noticed. If those are his real opinions... wow... just wow.

Besides being a very scary racist individual who claims not to be racist, you have to be grateful he outted himself. At least we know there is a rabid dog on the lose (him, not Ebola victims).

Wouldn't killing ebola patients be considered retroactive abortion?

Yes. I'm sure if he were a Democrat, that would have been your reply.

Sure, we may be talking about him here and how we're completely outraged by his statements but I can assure his comments are being embraced and cheered on by many of the GOP faithful.

You imply that many the GOP faithful are barking mad would-be mass murderers, which I think is probably overstating the case a little.

The fact that the GOP alone let him operate as a director and member of their political party he is sign that they approved his message. This is the problem with the Tea party. They are radical right wingers that has some level of support from their members.

The misogynistic and racist culture needs to die. The truth is the U.S. still has a huge problem with racism and its people like Todd Kincannon is only a tip of the iceberg. Just take last year NHL playoff series MTL vs Boston with thousands of Boston fans started racist comment on P.K Subban.

Meanwhile the Dr. that was treated for ebola spent the weekend at UMass in isolation. He literately lives down the street from me. Its a very comforting feeling
