Trump supporters, keeping it classy.

Kenneth Shupe tells FOX Carolina (http://bit.ly/1SMV9yz) that he stopped hooking up a woman's car to his tow truck Monday after he noticed a sign supporting Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in rear window of the vehicle.

Shupe, who supports Republican Donald Trump, says he told her that he couldn't tow her car because she was "obviously a socialist." He tells the station that he told her to "call the government" for a tow.

Yes, God came to him and said "leave that person in need stranded". Can we get an amen?
“Something came over me, I think the Lord came to me, and he just said get in the truck and leave,” Mr. Shupe said. “And when I got in my truck, you know, I was so proud, because I felt like I finally drew a line in the sand and stood up for what I believed.”

Most businesses exist to make money, hence their doing work for people they don't always agree with. That is part of civilized society, complex but true.

If that guy hates socialism, he should move to a free state like Somalia instead of being in a business that relies on taxpayer-funded socialized roads, oops...

This whole story seems like something someone would have made up. I'm not even saying this as a Trump supporter.
I believe and hope that's the case, especially as social media has put out fictitious memes before. It's terrible people make them just to con others into believing.

Any business who shows their political leanings is alienating 50% of their customer base, no matter which side they're on. There's a reason most are apolitical.

So you guys are also against PayPal because they are not building in North Carolina over the transgender bathroom law, right?
The biggest difference between Democrat and Republican bugbears is that the Democrat ones are usually against things that harm or limit other people, even if they are sometimes kind of overblown.

It's the difference between...

"transgender people should be allowed to use the bathroom they identify with because they deserve respect. If you don't respect them, I don't respect you".

and...

"I don't like you, and I don't have to do anything for you."

You're attempting to explain the difference between not moving your business and leaving someone stranded on the road to a Trump supporter. While this attempt is noble, it will never matter to this person.

I think Robisan made a better point than I did anyway.

Paypal isn't denying anyone service, they're just having second thoughts about moving their headquarters to a place because they don't like the politics there. In any other situation, I'm sure Witt would say that's entirely their choice and freedom.

I don't see the problem.

oh please, plenty of Bernie & Hillary supporters are going out beating trump supporters, blocking roads & jumping on cop cars but you have an issue with a guy refusing service
but are they claiming god told them too?
