My iTunes (updated to the latest version) is now showing with a purple background and it just doesn't 'look right'. I've attached a small screenshot of what I'm seeing, though it may be too small to see everything.

I've already tried removing and re-installing iTunes, but so far that hasn't worked.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue on my T60. Fortunately, I don't really use iTunes on Windows.

Have you figured any fixes? I haven't searched the forums yet.

^ I'm glad you mentioned you're using a T60, as I'm having the problem on a R51 Thinkpad. I wonder if it's some kind of IBM driver that's causing the issue.

In the previous version of iTunes, when looking at the store, the background color was the dark purple. Now it's present in everything on iTunes.....while it seems to work fine, it just doesn't look right and would like to fix it somehow.

nice! I had no clue my system got switched to 16 bit... back to 32 with no purple background!
