howdy everyone.
i currently use a 1.83ghz, 15" macbook pro. a few days ago i installed a variety of updates for my computer only to find that the next time i loaded it up, i received an error stating that an extension called "airportatheros.kext" was installed improperly. as a result, my wifi is no longer working. i've tried setting up a test account and rewriting permissions, but neither of those things seem to work.
i called apple support and they said it was an issue they're currently investigating... has anyone experienced this before? i'm not completely adverse to reinstalling osx, i'd just rather not.
thanks in advance!
