ok, so when you tried to connect, does iPT pop up a window asking you to input password?

yes, i inputted the password correctly, but nothings showing in safari as the key index is 2

as the key index is 2

After you said this about sixty times, I decided to Google it, since I've been using WiFi for four years and have never heard this term before. Apparently this index defines how WEP works... 99.9% of people seem not to use it (and the smart ones don't use WEP at all), but it does seem to be a feature that some WEP routers use.

Apple's WEP implementation doesn't seem to support key indices.

So I think you're out of luck.

Also, bumping is boorish and against forum policy.
