First off a search turned up nothing...
I've got some fairly decent speakers hooked up to my MBP via the standard 3.5mm Jack. However, due to having a 24" display connected as well, (as my primary monitor) the right speaker is quite far down the desk. Due to "logistics" and positioning of the desk, I sit in front of the 24" LCD with the MBP 17" to my right, the left speaker close and the right speaker a way to the right. Now to get music sounding "central" to where I sit, I adjust the balance about 20% to the right. However every time I change the volume on my keyboard, the balance is reset! Is there anyway to avoid this? - (apart from the obvious of not changing the volume)
