I think there should be some kind of monthly membership fees ... maybe an additional cost for most than N amount of posts a day.

You're kidding, right? The lefties outnumber us like 10-1. We'll never have a moderator of our own peeps.

Unless we do electoral college and we find a way to win election with just 10% of the vote. :D

We can demand an affirmative action right wing appointee since we are in the minority.

Midgets get a 50% minority discount. Half the size, half the price.

I'd maybe pay if we got some more features or something to make up for it. It's been mentioned but you really can't have a discussion with the mods(my opinion). I've been warned a few times I earned a couple of them and in the one case that a legitimate mistake took place on my part they weren't having any discussion on it.

We'd just hire some illegal immigrants to vote for left-wing mods anyway. :p

We are under an Oligarchic Dictatorship here. We have no power or rights outside what the powers that be give. It is pointless to opine otherwise.

It would be better if your submissions in the PRSI counted towards your overall post count. But I
might as well be talking into a brick wall.

We're not contributing to the site in any meaningful way./Sarcasm
I mean who cares about ad revenue?

if you are accessing the PSRI forum on a regular basis, you are contributing to the ad revenue of the site. And post count has nothing to do with it. Whether your post count is 1, 0, or 1000 is irrelevant, in regards to what is occurring when one accesses the forum.

The "/sarcasm" was meant to display my sarcastic tone. I acknowledged we contribute to ad revenue in the following sentence. If it weren't for PRSI I honestly would only come to macrumors in late August early September for iPhone predictions since they are pretty solid at that point.

Or they don't like the far-reaching evangelical right drivel?

Actually, Drew, I'd say the regular non PRSI posts are far worse than ones in here. Ever notice series of scathing and really out there posts in a gray area politicized thread? Those were moved from other sections, and often the initial replies are out there!

Who here pushes any kind of evangelistic anything here. I can't recall anyone in recent months discussing or advocating for Christianity, especially on a front page thread.

Evangelical right doesn't inherently refer to religion. It refers to the initial takeover of conservatism by the Moral Majority and other parts that changed the face of the GOP from then on. 1976 was a starting point after earlier attempts. A lot of current GOP ideology was the exact opposite prior to religious groups making their moves on the party. The same applies to the DNC. Both parties have strayed afar in the last 15 years.

You're welcome. People don't really know about it because it's muddled in history and isn't mentioned because a lot of younger people just presume Republicans and Democrats have always behaved this way. I fear the day the future of tomorrow completely forgets or ignores history.

    Should be shut down IMHO.

Rules aren't applied consistently, making users have a certain number of posts isn't going to change that.

Although I don't have strong feelings about it, and think that the current restriction is enough to stop hit and run trolling, I'd choose 2 months + 200 posts.
