PSA: If you've moved country and kept your AppleID, Siri won't work for you

    Just a notice to anyone thinking of buying the new AppleTV:

    Siri's understanding about what's on Netflix comes from the region in your AppleID. So if you're using a UK AppleID, Siri will insist that everything on UK Netflix is available.

    Unfortunately, if you're like me and have moved abroad (even temporarily) or have a holiday home in another country and use a local Netflix subscription, that means Siri basically won't work for you. It'll tell you that movies are available which really aren't, and it won't know which movies really are available.

    This isn't exactly obvious: in my case, I can log in and use the Netflix app just fine, no hassle at all. It's Siri which seems to make assumptions about my Netflix region.

    This definitely takes away a lot from using the new AppleTV.

    If you have a German Apple ID you can only use the German Siri. If you change it to English, it says Siri is not available in English even though the region and language is set to English.

    There should be a separate Siri option or at least it should be ties to the UI language and not your iTunes account.
