My dvd rom drive in my 15" g4 450mhz Tibook bought pretty soon after its release has finally given in after 3 years of hard use.

It says on the apple website that it is not possible to put a superdrive in this model but i just dont want to believe them. They have been known to tell the odd porkie u know.

anyone out there know of anyway to put a superdrive into this model or even of a site that has some discussion of this.

any help on this or where to get cheap TiBook parts in the UK would be great

are slot loading super drive wider than
the original combi drives and dvd roms

for space issues.
