I watched the Apple show (lol) and pre-ordered the Apple Watch 10 in what is now being called the "Medium Size" - mainly because if I understand what I have seen/read the screen should be about the same size as my current Apple Watch Series 8 (larger size) which I am comfortable with. (Don't need the Ultra size screen.) I have a collection of Apple Watch bands that fit on my "Larger size" Apple Watch and I would think they will work on the smaller size of the Apple Watch 10. Anyone know for sure? Thanks

There’s always been two sizes of watch. Small and large.

The bands have always come I two sizes (ignoring length of band here) small and large.

Small watch needs small band

Large watch needs large band.

Your bands are large, so did you buy the 46mm watch? If yes you’re fine. If you didn’t then they won’t fit.

That's what I should have realized. Changed order to the larger AW10. Thanks.
Smart move. Btw as a rule of thumb, Apple Watch Series 3 and earlier users who have a 42mm watch the S10 42mm bands are not interchangeable. All 42mm S10 bands are made for 38-41mm watches interchangeably, as band channel widths are preserved from these previous generations’ smaller counterparts.

Consider getting an Apple Watch Ultra or the 46mm if you do not want to waste your bands collection.
