Hi Everyone, new to the forums, with a question.

I have a Desktop form-factor Beige G3/266 (284MB RAM), running 10.2.8, with an IXMicro Twinturbo 128 video card, connected to a Sony G500 21" Monitor.

As of this moment, the only two resolutions I can select are 512x(can't remember), and 640x480. The card is either 4mb or 8mb (I think it's 8), so it should handily support higher res. Those are the only two selectable resolutions regardless of colour depth (millions down to 256).

Can anyone provide any advice as to how to correct this? I'm hoping for at least 1024x768 in order to make this usable (640x480 @ 21" is enormous!).

I read somewhere that some video settings can be modified in Openfirmware, would this helP?

    Thanks in advance,

    - Rich

Well, the IXMicro isn't supported under OS X (that I know of), so it doesn't surprise me that you can't switch the resolutions above 800x600.

Figured it out myself after going thru multiple PRAM resets, CUDA resets, and a new PRAM battery... Apparently OSX and the TwinTurbo don't play nice with the KVM I had the machine connected through. Connected it to an alternate input on the monitor, and boom, 1024x768.
