Hi,
I have recently bought a 1G iPhone with firmware 2.0 installed and unlocked it using Pwnage so that I can use my PAYG sim.
I have a couple of queries that I was hoping some kind soul could help me with:
1. I have looked at a couple of sites about changing the number the Voicemail "button" will call and they seem to point to dialing the number *5005*86*xxx# - where xxx is your voicemail number.
I am on Tesco PAYG and the voicemail number is 905. However, when I try this I get the processing "dial" displayed, as though it is doing something, but then when I try the Voicemail button it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
2. I was looking to see if I could set up edge on this phone, to use if I really need to. Looking around the system settings I found General\Network\Cellular Data Network. In here I set the fields to prepay.tesco-mobile.com, tescowap, password (as I read elsewhere) - but this doesn't seem to allow me to load any web pages etc
Again, any helpful hints?
Any info, or pointers at useful links would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Stu.
