Ok, I Jailbreak my iPod Touch 2G like 6 months? ago and now a friend wants me to jailbreak his

Is there a jailbreak for the recent Firmwares (3.1.2)???

cause mine is on 3.0 OS and i went to "iclarified" and they dont have any tutorials for anything beyond 3.0

I really didnt search cause im on my job right now, i would really apreciate if someone can answer and lead me to a tutorial or whatever.

How do i know the difference between 2G and 3G

cause I've just Jailbreak that ipod touch and when i turn it off and back on, it shows the connect to itunes screen

Bahh, This POS must be 3G!! hehehehe...
The dude doesnt know if its 3G or not, and It looks pretty much just like mine (2G) but i dont have mine in here so i cant closely compare...

Do you know the capacity? If it's a 64GB iPod, it's definitely 3G.

hehehe, is a 8GB, he told me he bought it on December, so im guessing its a 3G...
