Quick OSX Mail Question

Ok some how I screwed up MAIL I normally am able to see my all received email in a top pane and then below in a preview you can read contents of the email now it does not show the preview pane just received mail how can I get this back

Weird shut down MAIL for 3rd time opened up and it back to normal

Good thing cause I couldn't come up with any other ideas about how to fix it!
