In iOS 10, I used to be able to easily select my AirPods by force-touching in Control Center, and select AirPods. iOS 11 doesn't allow me to do this anymore, need to go into Bluetooth and tap AirPods, if they're already connected to my MacBook Pro and iPad mini. Thanks in advance!

Same problem here, though I useControl Center, 3D Touch Music, then the airplay symbol, the AirPods.
Still cumbersome though.

Where would you Force Touch in Control Center?

Yeah in iOS 11 it takes by far too much steps to select your AirPods. The whole idea is that the sync between devices is easy and quick, but they've made it really bad and difficult to find now.

What I don’t understand is why the AirPods don’t automatically connect when you open the lid on the charging case and you get a pop up on the device’s screen. I should be able to touch that pop up and have them connected. As it is, there’s more steps than necessary to connect them.
