I accidentally changed my QuickTime icon and I would like to change it back to the default. Where does OSX store these default icons? Spotlight doesn't seem to be turning anything up for me.

If you just type COMMAND-I on the QuickTime app, then select the icon and press delete, it should be fixed. If that doesn't work, I can email you mine. :)

How did you change it? Did you hit the apple key+i and copy and paste the new icon over the old one in the info window?

If so, you overwrote the icon with the new one. You may be able to find it somewhere on the net or ask someone to email it to you. I'm not exactly sure where the icon is kept on the HD, though.

Thanks, mad jew!

D'oh! I think thats the first time I've found something thats as easy to fix as it is to break.

No problems. I did the same thing when I first started with Panther back in the day. It frustrated the hell out of me trying to find a replacement. :(
