Hi all,
I opened an Xvid .avi movie in quicktime last night and i went to export (encode) it to .m4v ipod optimized, but when i imported it to itunes today and tried to test play it, it had the WORST audio lagg. The voice was delayed an easy 3-4 seconds from the video. Same thing when i tried playing the file in just quicktime, and VLC too. The original .avi didnt have any delay, so im sure something must be wrong with the encoding. Is there any specific reason why this would happen? Would it be less likely to happen if I just encoded to .mp4 (although thats not "optimized" for an ipod but should still work)?
Thanks for your help!

-Jake
